Valser Water World
It’s one of the immediately recognisable, classic advertising slogans: «S’isch guat ds Valserwasser» (It’s good, this Valser water).
Guests are warmly invited to combine a wellness day in the Vals spa with a visit to the Valser Water World. Bottling of the water from St. Peter’s spring began after closure of the old spa baths in the 1950s. And although the business has belonged to the Coca-Cola Group since 2002, Valser water remains one of the quintessentially Swiss brand products. This is largely due to it being one of the most calcium-rich mineral waters in Switzerland, and not just because of a clever marketing strategy.
Guests at the Visitors’ Centre at the entrance to the village immerse themselves symbolically in the element of water and are confronted with new aspects and perspectives of this source of all life. Spectacular images and surprising stories provide greater understanding and illustrative accounts of why mineral water is not just a run-of-the-mill product.
